Our client is currently recruiting a brand new role for their business, due to business growth and acquisitions. The new role will be at the heart of the business and is an excellent opportunity for a strong, talented individual to influence the implementation of the company's strategy.

The business has grown organically over the last few years with 100% growth in the last 4 years due to a large company acquisition. This new role will be key in delivering new strategies and implementing the next lot of external investments

  • Owning and understanding the full financial reporting processes that define the business
  • Applying commercial context and presenting financial information that anticipates the needs of internal and external stakeholders including investors.
  • Full ownership of processes and controls that define monthly and annual financial reporting cycles
  • Regularly identifying areas of improvement and implementing company-wide change
  • Producing monthly financial reporting in according with SLA's and stakeholder expectations
  • Producing annual financial statements for the group and its subsidiaries
  • Managing, leading and coaching members of the financial reporting team
  • Influencing business performance through interpretation, analysis and presentation of financial information
  • Forecasting short and medium term cashflows
  • Initial investment appraisal - settling and implementing scope of financial due diligence experiences
  • Executing agreed scope of diligence using both internal or external sources
  • Analysing and presenting the above findings, including clear recommendations for present and future.
  • Modelling medium-term impact on the business of any opportunity
  • Valuable input into any legal documents surrounding transactions
  • Controlling any process of vendor due diligence and assessing external investments - preparing prospectus documents
  • Financial modelling - owning and controller business medium-term model
  • Building flexibility to allow ideas to be planned, run and acquisitions to be incorporated
  • Assessment of future financing needs with recommendations and implementations of new financing streams when required.


  • ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified
  • Experience of full accountability for the production of financial information for stakeholders and the control to make that happen
  • Experience planning and executing efficient budget processes - financial due diligence, complex financial modelling
  • Highly level of accuracy, IT skills and Excel knowledge
  • Powerful presenter, leader and manager who can influence and lead a team.
