HR Assistant

Location: Nelson Salary: £18000 - £22000 per annum

I am currently recruiting for a HR Assistant to join a business based in Nelson. Reporting into the HR BP this is a generalist role where you will assist with a variety of HR issues such as:

  • Being the 1st point of contact in HR - responding to queries
  • Dealing with compensation queries
  • Organising training for employees across the business
  • Being responsible for HR communication such as pay reviews
  • Liaising with recruitment agencies
  • Track performance reviews
  • Managing all sickness and absence within the company
  • Facilitate the induction process

In addition to this you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the HR database which is Oracle so if you have previous experience working with HR systems this would be advantageous.

This is a fixed term contract role until the end of April 2018, although there may be longer term opportunities for the successful candidate.
