Based: Horwich

Our client is a fantastic, leading IT business who are have experienced rapid growth over the last 15 years - in both staff numbers and turnover. With a board of forward-thinking Directors, they are at the forefront of new technology, extremely well-known for their hardware, software, virtual reality, artificial intelligence and Audio/Visual products, offered both in-store and online.

They work with some of the most innovative businesses in the UK in a wide range of industries with big plans for the future. Due to a new and exciting project, we are looking to create a brand new Account Management team to work alongside the current Key Account Team, adding to the businesses growth.


  • Managing a number of customer accounts - dealing with businesses that have purchased products previously
  • Making contact via phone, understanding their previous need and any opportunities going forward
  • Becoming a brand ambassador for the business - understanding all business areas and products/services on offer to sell to each customer
  • Selling benefits of other business areas to customers, researching their possible needs prior
  • Understanding the customer and their buying patterns, keeping in regular contact if required
  • Organising meetings with external Business Development Managers to build up further rapport
  • Pro-actively monitoring and managing companies satisfaction and service levels
  • Reacting to any further business leads both internally and externally - using initiative for next steps
  • Identify and develop key relationships with nominated accounts
  • Supporting Key Account Management team when necessary
  • Increasing product/service knowledge through regular research & training
  • Collating and managing data from various sources & MI


  • Previous Internal/Outbound Sales experience is ESSENTIAL
  • IT Software/Hardware experience would be highly desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication & upselling skills
  • Pro-active, dynamic and solution focused
