Location: Westhoughton Salary: £22000 - £25000 per annum

Senior Payroll Officer - two vacancies

Based:Horwich & Leigh

Salary: up to £25k dependent on experience

I am working closely with 2 clients of mine, based in Leigh and Horwich. Both are looking for a Senior Payroll Officer to manage their end to end Payroll for 400 and 280 staff respectively.

Having placed staff members in both companies before, I know the businesses/Finance Directors extremely well and both are excellent companies with high turnovers and plans for progression. One resides in Construction and the other in Retail but any industry knowledge is great,

Role:

  • Processing payroll alongside a colleague - 400/280 staff monthly and weekly
  • Full control of payroll from start to finish - collating hours from timesheets/clocking in system and feeding into SAGE & Excel manually.
  • Producing monthly reports for the directors
  • Management of tax, National Insurance, benefits deductions, P60s and P11D's
  • Produce reports and managing pension uploads monthly
  • Payment of payroll to all staff by BACs, dealing with HMRC direct
  • Supporting wider finance team when required - full training available

Please note, to be considered for this role you MUST:

  • Have previous experience of managing payroll end-to-end (knowledge of pensions, deductions, P11D's and benefits)
