Purchase Ledger Clerk

Location: Salford Salary: £16000 - £18000 per annum

I am currently recruiting for an Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a leading Housing Company in Eccles. This is a brand new role due to growth and will start immediately on a full time 3-6 month contract with the view to going permanent. You will be joining an established and vibrant finance team, reporting to the Financial Controller.

You must have strong analytical skills and be able to work productively, in a high-pressure environment. This role would be most suited to a candidate with extensive purchase ledger experience, who is looking to join a stable and secure working environment, yet at the same time gain wider finance knowledge. The successful candidate will need to be ready to hit the ground running, have the ability to process high volumes and fully immerse themselves in the dynamic culture.

Responsibilities include:
*High volume invoice processing
*Preparing payment runs
*Coding and processing invoices and credit notes
*Reconciling invoices to supplier statements
*Issuing purchase order numbers
*Passing invoices to the relevant department for authorisation
*Expenses for the internal staff
*General administration duties
