Can you give us a brief overview of the business you work for, your team in particular, and the type of people you look for when you are recruiting?   

Shaws is a manufacturer of ceramic sinks and bespoke terracotta blocks for buildings both old and new, based in Darwen. As Finance Director, I manage a small team including an assistant accountant, a credit controller and a sales administrator. Due to the size of our business, it is important that we recruit people who are flexible in their approach and happy to take on roles beyond their remit. It is a small office and as such personality as well as ability is always a key factor in the recruitment of new staff.

How long have you been working with Four Financial and which of our services have you used ?

I have worked with Four Financial since they recruited me in my current position in August 2010. Subsequently I have recruited two members of staff through them and both have proved to be an excellent fit to our business. 

For the benefit of any potential client of ours what would you say are our key strengths and why use Four Financial rather than other agencies?

Having been through the recruitment process from both sides with Four Financial, I can definitely say they go the extra mile to ensure the right candidates are selected for each position and this is one of their key strengths. Four Financial would never suggest an unsuitable candidate purely to fill an interview slot, they take the time to listen to what both candidate and employer require and as such they invariably provide the very best available candidates for the role. Once interview candidates are selected, the whole process moves very smoothly and the timely communication throughout ensures you are kept updated at all times. Having used a number other agencies in the past, I can highly recommend Four Financial and will continue to use them for any future recruitment needs I may have.
