Salary: £20k - £25k dependent on experience

Our client are a rapidly expanding, innovative and driven business based on the outskirts of Bury. Due to increasing revenue, staff and business contracts coming onboard they are actively looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join on an interim basis.

Initially 3 months, this role has the opportunity to go permanent for the right person!

Role:

  • Purchase ledger - dealing with high volume invoices, coding and inputting
  • Preparing payment runs, running BACS payments
  • Bank and supplier statement reconciliations
  • Sales ledger - processing credit notes, raising invoices and chasing debt
  • Liaising with suppliers and finalising supplier payment runs
  • Assisting with producing monthly P&Ls and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Journal entries, accruals, prepayments and intercompany transactions
  • Monthly VAT checks and assisting with producing VAT returns
  • Assisting with producing management accounts, rolling budgets and cash flow
  • Reconciling cash, processing raising and making payments
  • Payroll processing for employees, finalising all details
  • Analysis and reporting in Excel (VLookUps, Pivots, SUMIFS)

To be considered you must:

  • Have strong experience in the above - all finance duties
  • Strong Excel and SAGE experience essential
  • Ability to adapt quickly and extremely hands-on
