Purchase Ledger Clerk

Salary: up to £21,000

Location: Salford, Manchester

A successful distribution company are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them on a full time, permanent basis. Working in a team, reporting to a Purchase ledger Supervisor, you will be responsible for the whole of the purchase ledger process, including:

  • Processing high volume of purchase invoices
  • Matching, batching, coding
  • Payment runes and statements reconciliations
  • Multi-currency payments
  • Calculating VAT payments
  • Setting up new vendor accounts
  • Posting and paying staff expenses
  • Resolving supplier queries via email and telephone
  • Developing relationships with existing and new suppliers

The ideal candidate:

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experienced of Excel and ideally SAP
