Permanent, Part Time - 15-22 hours per week

Our client are based in Skelmersdale and are one of UK's fastest growing businesses. They a great employer to work for and offer some great employee benefits. They have a low turnover of staff but due to a restructure within Finance they are currently looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their team on a part time, permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will be a real team player and be able to build a good rapport with clients and customers.

Role:

  • Actively chasing monies by telephone and email until it escalates to team manager
  • Posting and allocating receipts accurately
  • Ensuring queries are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Issuing monthly statements, and automatic reminders
  • Keeping appropriate records of customer interactions
  • Reviewing and processing new account applications, including credit checking and agreeing credit limits
  • Reviewing credit limits when required, in line with credit insurance guidelines
  • Creating credit reports of overdue accounts
  • Assisting the Credit Control team when required

Essential Requirements:

  • Must have at least 3 years' experience
  • Have good attention to detail
  • Able to work well in a team
