Four Recruitment have partnered with a well-respected legal firm to aid in their search for a Legal & Costs Secretary to support their internal teams with their work.

The Role

Working predominantly with the Fee earners within the business, the following duties will be a normal part of your role:

  • Dealing with telephone calls and queries as and when required.
  • Prepare accurate correspondence and documents through audio typing and word processing.
  • Open and close files as appropriate.
  • Ensure all daily post is logged correctly onto the case management system and facilitate delivery to the correct individuals.
  • To ensure that work produced is of a high standard, reflecting the quality of company standards.
  • To work flexibly as part of a team and be versatile to the needs and expectations of the business.
  • To provide support to other secretaries/support teams as directed by Secretarial Supervisors.

Essential Requirements

  • MUST HAVE - experience in a legal setting
  • Administrative & secretarial experience
  • Audiotyping ability
  • Strong communication skills
  • Be a team player
