People Advisor

I am currently supporting a high-growth, values-driven business based in Manchester City Centre, in their search for a People Advisor. This is a fairly unique opportunity to be part of an entrepreneurial business.

Reporting into the People Director you will play a crucial role in ensuring the business attracts, develops and retains top talent. You will provide comprehensive HR support and guidance, fostering a positive work environment.

Below is an overview of some of the things you will take a lead on:

  • Employee Relations: Providing expert advice and support to managers and employees on all HR-related matters, including employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution
  • Recruitment: Assisting in the recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires
  • HR Policies and Procedures: Ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures, and assisting in the development and implementation of new policies as needed
  • Learning and Development: Identifying learning needs and advising on appropriate learning solutions
  • HR Administration: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, managing the HR system
  • Reward and Benefits: Liaising with internal employees and external providers on employee benefits and payroll queries
  • HR Projects: Participating in HR projects and initiatives to support business objectives and drive continuous improvement

The successful candidate will have a real bredth of HR experience, ideally some of which has been gained within a high growth business. It is essential for this role that you are passionate about HR, have strong stakeholder management skills and are able to demonstrate your own CPD.
