Permanent, Full Time 35 hours a week

Our client are a global manufacturing company based in Horwich. They are currently undergoing growth and are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their Finance team on a permanent basis. After working with the company for the past few years and placing several staff members in different roles we know they are a great employer.   • Inputting and processing a high volume of purchase invoices
  • Daily bank updates
  • Preparing weekly / monthly payment runs and posting payments
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Dealing with and resolving client queries
  • Liaising with managers to authorise invoices for payment, expenses and resolve any queries
  • Ensuring supplier data is accurate and up to date
  • Ensuring creditors ledger is kept up to date and resolve aged items
  • Ensuring postings are completed and are accurate
  • Preparing cash flow information

Essential requirements:

  • Experience in a Finance role/ Purchase Ledger experience
  • Strong Excel skills - V-Lookup, Pivot Tables
  • SAP experience is desirable
