HR Advisor

Location: Bolton

Salary: 28-35k depending on experience

Are you a HR professional looking for a role in which you will gain fantastic experience in a fast-paced environment? If so, this opportunity may be for you!

The Role

You will be working as part of a wider HR team taking responsibility for the following:

  • Recruiting and selecting new talent for the business
  • Delivering and enhancing the onboarding experience
  • Supporting on ER cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management
  • Leading investigations
  • Coaching Managers
  • Delivering training sessions for Managers
  • Preparing payroll information for the outsourced company (training will be given)
  • Advising on employee benefits and liaising with external providers
  • Supporting with a variety of HR projects
  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement
  • Updating and maintaining HR records, producing reports using Workday and Excel (strong IT skills are important)

Requirements

  • Generalist HR knowledge
  • CIPD level 5 or working towards (preferred but not essential)
  • ER experience
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence and the ability to establish effective working relationships
  • A genuine passion for HR and getting the best out of people
  • The ability to work off your own initiative
